User, Guest & Renter Agreement
Effective Date: June 19, 2026
This Agreement governs the use of www.rentedghar.com ("Platform") operated by KOLAHAL HOMES PRIVATE LIMITED.
By registering an account, making a booking, renting a product, reserving a table, or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to be legally bound by this Agreement.
1 Platform Role
RentedGhar is an online marketplace connecting:
- Property Owners and Guests
- Product Owners and Renters
- Restaurants and Customers
- Service Providers and Users
We merely facilitate communication and processing. We do not own, operate, or manage any listed properties or products.
2 User Eligibility
To use the Platform, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Have legal capacity to enter into binding agreements.
- Provide accurate and complete information.
- Maintain the confidentiality of account credentials.
The Company reserves the right to verify identity at any time.
3 Account Responsibility
Users are solely responsible for:
- Maintaining account security and passwords.
- All activities conducted under their account.
- Providing accurate booking information.
Users shall immediately notify the Company of any unauthorized account activity.
4 Property Bookings
When booking accommodations, Users acknowledge:
- Listings and descriptions are managed by independent Hosts.
- Property conditions, amenities, and facilities may vary.
- Hosts are solely responsible for accommodation services.
Users are encouraged to independently verify property details before booking.
5. Product Rentals
When renting products, Users agree:
- Owners are solely responsible for quality and condition.
- Products must be used only for lawful/intended purposes without unauthorized modification.
- Products must be returned in substantially the same condition.
Users may be held liable for damage, loss, theft, misuse, or destruction.
6. Table Bookings
Users making restaurant reservations acknowledge:
- Restaurants independently manage reservations, availability, and service quality.
- Menu items, pricing, and promotions are determined by the restaurant.
RentedGhar does not guarantee reservation availability or dining experiences.
7. User Conduct
Users shall not violate laws, engage in fraud, damage property, misuse products, harass others, circumvent payments, or use the Platform unlawfully. Violation may result in account termination.
8. Damage to Property or Products
Users are fully responsible for property/product damage, missing items, theft, excessive cleaning, and rule violations. Hosts/Owners may seek compensation for verified damages.
9. Payments
Users agree to pay all applicable rental charges, fees, deposits, and taxes. Payments are processed via authorized third-party gateways outside the Company's control.
10. Cancellations & Refunds
Governed by the Platform's Refund Policy, along with Host, Owner, or Restaurant specific policies. Users must review cancellation terms before booking.
11. Safety & Risk
Users acknowledge that properties, products, and restaurants operate independently. Users voluntarily assume all risks associated with stays, usage, deliveries, dining, and interactions with third parties.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Platform is provided "AS IS". We make no warranties regarding property/product/service quality, availability, listing accuracy, or continuous operation. Use at your own risk.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RentedGhar shall not be liable for defects, actions of others, theft, injuries, financial loss, or service interruptions. Our role is strictly a marketplace facilitator.
14. Indemnification
Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless KOLAHAL HOMES PRIVATE LIMITED, its directors, employees, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, or expenses arising from user conduct, violation of laws, property damage, or breach of this Agreement.
15. Intellectual Property
All Platform branding, software, text, and graphics belong to RentedGhar. Users may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit this content without written permission.
16. Suspension / Termination
The Company may suspend or terminate user access without notice if fraud, false info, policy violations, illegal activities, or security threats are detected.
17. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
